The Vet Warrington Veterinary Surgeons and Nurses
After a childhood surrounded by animals and various Saturday jobs in kennels and farms, Paige decided she wanted to be a Veterinary Nurse as she wanted to work with animals and was interested in the science and anatomy. Paige qualified in 2015 and has since worked as a surgical nurse and her main passion is anaesthesia and major soft tissue surgery. Outside of work she enjoys travelling, dog walking and spending time with the family. She has two dogs, Tia who is a 8 year old rottweiler and Rodney a 2 year old labrador, both rescues.
After a childhood surrounded by numerous pets, Jane began a career in Veterinary Nursing in 1996. After studying at Myerscough College she qualified in 2002.
She enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Nursing, especially nurse clinics, time spent in theatre and neo-natal care. Over the years she has hand-reared many litters of orphaned kittens, puppies, rabbits and even birds!
Behaviour is of keen interest and she hopes to pursue her current knowledge further in the near future.
Jane has two cats, Marshall and Pedro and a Spaniel named Irwin.
In her spare time she enjoys family days out, attending live music events, socialising with friends and exploring new dog walks.
Client Care Manager
After working in a customer focused background for the same company for 29 years, in 2016 I thought it was time to try something different. So, when the opportunity arose for a new role as Receptionist @ The Vet, Warrington I couldn’t think of a better challenge to grab with both hands. I joined The Vet Team in January 2017 being part of the reception team and now hold the title of Customer Care Manager.
I currently have two Staffordshire Bull Terriers Ella and Frankie, which are the babies of our family. My favourite time with them is having long walks with them both either in the summer and take them to a nice beer garden where they lap up the attention, or the beach on a winter’s day. In my spare time, you’ll find me curled up with my nose in a good book or more like the kindle these days or making the most of spending time either with family and friends, sharing a nice meal or having a drink and enjoying a well-deserved catch up.
I am very fortunate to meet and work with such an incredible team her @ The Vet, Warrington and love to see all our lovely customers old and new with their beautiful fur baby’s.
Abigail is a recently qualified veterinary nurse, with an interest in inpatient care and nutrition. She completed 2 years of Animal management resulting in Triple Distinction * and a year of volunteering at the cat’s protection before deciding to further pursue her love of all creatures great and small in veterinary nursing. She inherited her passion for animals from her grandparents and from this has owned a variety of animal from dogs to rats! As she has no current pets due to a loss of her cheeky chihuahua in lockdown, Abigail spends her free time with either her family and friends or with her nose in a good book.
Kara lives at home with her fiancé and two children along with a Norwegian elkhound x husky called Diesel, she has always loved animals and grew up with a menagerie in her childhood including rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, fish, rats, dogs, cats and 2 horses. When she’s not planning her 2023 wedding she enjoys going out with friends, socialising, baking and horse riding in her spare time. She has worked in retail and owned her own business before joining The Vet as a veterinary receptionist.
