Waltham Forest

Who we are

The Vet is a high quality, veterinary healthcare provider, offering a full range of affordable small animal veterinary services to clients, operating a mixture of walk-in/appointments. We offer a range of clinical services from preventative healthcare through to complex medical, surgical and orthopaedic procedures. We have superb, spacious, purpose-built surroundings with operating theatres, multiple consulting rooms, digital x-ray and an up-to-date Idexx in-house laboratory.

You will be supported to develop your skills and will have the opportunity to progress as we are a growing, thriving company with lots of new opportunities.

Who we need

An enthusiastic veterinary nurse who is passionate about the provision of high quality service to patients and clients.

A key participant in the running of our dynamic and forward thinking clinic – we are always striving to be the best we can be, so want someone who is adaptable,  driven and enthusiastic about contributing to the growth of the clinic.

Someone who is keen to continually improve their professional knowledge and experience and is an excellent communicator, understanding that educating pet owners about their pets’ welfare is just as important as providing high quality treatment.

You will need to be qualified and registered to apply. Ideally, we are seeking an experienced nurse, but are looking for the right person for the role, so recent graduates are also invited to apply.

Our nurses are key clinical team members and are empowered to do as much as is within their scope of skills. CPD and skill sharing is actively encouraged. You will be working within a growing team which currently consists of 5 vets, 5 RVN’s (including you!), a student and 2 wonderful VCA’s.
